Subhabrata Maitra
While working at various international hotel chains, he gained experience in different aspects of the hospitality industry for 18 years. During this time, he completed several international hospitality diploma courses and a Master Certificate in Hospitality Management from eCornell University. Completing Post Graduate Business Management from AIMA gave him a strong foundation in business, finance & administration. He used his knowledge and industry experience to start his own hospitality firm, which he has grown into a successful business. Along with his own business, his company also consults and/or invests in various businesses.
Farzana Islam
Farzana is a marketing expert who learned the ropes of the business world while studying for her MBA. She worked at Westin-Dhaka and Khazana-Dhaka, where she honed her skills in business understanding and marketing. She then worked at Hafele Bangladesh, where she gained experience in managing a marketing team. She has grown her marketing agency to a level where it works with big local and international businesses and plan to go beyond.
Sumita Chakrabarty
With a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Applications, she started her career at Techno India Group, Hewlett Packard, Vodafone, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Shriram Group, and other multinational companies. She gained hands-on experience and expertise in business operations, administrative skills, people management, financial control, and crisis management. She is now the backbone of the group of companies, heading the Accounts & Taxation, IT, HR, Admin, and Internal Audit departments.
Farhana Habib
Farhana Habib is a passionate pastry chef and instructor with over 10 years of experience. She is the second runner up of Shera Radhuni 1424 and has been a mentor for Marks Dessert Queen and Shera Radhuni 1429. She has a Diploma in Pastry and Bakery from Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation and has also trained under international chefs from Academy of Pastry Arts Malaysia and Richemont Master-Baker Dubai. Farhana is now a Course Instructor and one of the directors of SHINE Epicenter Ltd, where she shares her love of baking and pastry art with students of all levels.
Nayeem Ashraf
Chef Nayeem is a talented and experienced culinary professional with a passion for Japanese cuisine. He has a Master's degree in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu Malaysia and has worked with global hospitality giants like NOBU. As Head Chef of UMAI, a renowned Japanese restaurant in Dhaka, he steered the restaurant to profitability. Chef joins SHINE Epicenter Ltd with a wealth of knowledge and experience, and is excited to share his passion for Hospitality Education to create a trustworthy institute for Bangladesh and beyond.
